A strengthened logistics network, serving pharmacies and patients
Because the quality of service provided to pharmacists also depends on operations on the ground, Sagitta Pharma continually invests in its logistics network. In 2024, the group expanded its regional coverage by integrating two independent wholesale distributors. These complementary operations specialize in pharmaceutical distribution and help ensure closer ties with pharmacies in their respective regions, resulting in increasingly responsive and reliable deliveries. This commitment benefits not only pharmacists but also patients directly, providing them with easier and continuous access to their medications, no matter where they are.

As someone passionate about science, I began studying pharmacy after graduating from high school. The career path of a community pharmacist quickly became the obvious choice for me, a decision reinforced by my internship supervisors, and it wasn’t long before I felt the urge to start my own practice.
In 2001, I bought a pharmacy in central Paris. The variety of my daily tasks and the close relationship with my customers reaffirmed that I had made the right choice.
But I quickly realize that the time I spend with the labs handling orders keeps me away from the counter, where I really add value.
Jérôme Brunet, CEO of
2009
That year, my brother—who is also a pharmacist—and I founded an innovative pharmaceutical purchasing cooperative. Its user-friendly and intuitive digital ordering interface quickly won over many of our colleagues looking to streamline their purchasing processes. Given this enthusiastic response, we soon had to move to larger facilities to expand our product offerings.
2015
We obtained our wholesaler-distributor license, marking a new milestone in our growth. Sagitta Pharma now had a unique digital platform, an extensive product catalog, and a high-performance logistics system—a combination that very quickly established us as the leading purchasing group in the French market. The following year, the infusion of new capital ushered in a new era of growth, enabling us to significantly expand our capabilities, both commercially and logistically.
2021
A new capital raise has enabled several of the company’s executives to join me in driving our expansion. Sagitta Pharma’s unique positioning—at the intersection of healthcare, digital technology, and logistics—is attracting a growing number of colleagues. As their roles evolve rapidly, they are turning to this innovative solution to save time in their pharmacies.
2024
A New Phase of Growth, Focused on Local Service Sagitta Pharma has reached a key milestone in its development by integrating two independent wholesale distributors: Sagitta Occitanie and Sagitta Nouvelle-Aquitaine. This development reflects our growth ambitions and our commitment to being ever closer to our pharmacist customers. By strengthening our regional network, we are expanding our reach and increasing our efficiency in supporting pharmacies on a daily basis. PharmaSmile: an exclusive brand designed for pharmacists This same momentum has also materialized with the launch of PharmaSmile, our exclusive brand. With PharmaSmile, we offer pharmacists an accessible, high-quality, and distinctive product line designed to meet the expectations of the pharmacy market.
2025
We have opened a new chapter for Sagitta Pharma with the automation of our warehouse. This project has enabled us to automate certain low-value-added tasks for our logistics operators, with a twofold goal: to improve their comfort and productivity in their day-to-day work. For us, this transformation represents much more than a technical advancement: it is a choice for the future. We are investing in a logistics system that is more modern, more reliable, and better suited to the volumes we handle every day.
Today
Today, Sagitta Pharma supplies one in six pharmacies in France, with revenue of 285 million euros projected for 2025. I look back with pride on the progress we’ve made alongside my teams. Our logistics and digital platform has become a pillar of the profession—a vital link in the public health chain—serving pharmacists and, through them, their patients.
Our mission: to empower pharmacists to devote themselves fully to their patients.

Jérôme Fourquier Chief Financial Officer
With a double degree in accountancy and business school (+ law degree), I have 25 years' experience as CFO in SMEs. As soon as I arrived in 2016, I found Sagitta Pharma to be a company that was open to innovation, allowing everyone to contribute to performance through individual initiative and the use of new technologies. This is truly the DNA of our organization.
Farid Aizeti Director of Exports & Logistics Infrastructure
After earning a dual degree—a DESS in Pharmaceutical Distribution and a Master’s in Supply Chain Management—I worked for 20 years at a leading distribution company as Director of Operations & Transportation. Since 2015, I have been with Sagitta Pharma, where I am currently in charge of the export and logistics infrastructure division. I found a dynamic and bold company that has broken the mold to offer services tailored to its customers—a company with strong values. It’s a company I identify with, and one I enjoy working for.
Maryline Girard Marketing, Strategy & Innovation Director
With a Ph.D. in pharmacy and as a former pharmacy owner, I joined Sagitta Pharma in 2016. After several years in the field, I took on the role of Head of Marketing, Strategy, and Innovation, where I shape the group’s offerings: our own brand, PharmaSmile; strategic partnerships; and corporate social responsibility (CSR). Passionate about new technologies, I’m driven by the desire to provide my colleagues with an innovative tool to centralize their purchasing and digitize their back-office operations, so they can devote themselves fully to their healthcare missions.
Aboubakry Soumare Purchasing Director
I have been with Sagitta Pharma since 2016, where I negotiate and manage framework agreements with our partner laboratories, source new laboratories for inclusion in our portfolio, and analyze sales data. As a trained pharmacist, I have gained a wide range of experience working not only in community pharmacies but also with nonprofit organizations (on public health projects) and in drugstores within supermarkets.
Antoine Bruzulier Operations Manager

Together with our colleagues, we strive to offer an innovative tool that best aligns with market needs

Customer reviews
Our customers speak for us!
“We place 1 to 2 orders a week! It’s an incredibly convenient service that often lets us find many products we can’t or don’t want to order directly, while keeping quantities at a more reasonable level for our pharmacy. It’s really great to be able to order small quantities of so many different products. No issues with deliveries, and if needed, returns are handled smoothly and credit is issued quickly. Great service—everything’s going great!”

“Joining the Central Cooperative has given me access to a wide range of products that I couldn’t order directly, at the same discount or even a slightly lower one. It saves me time and money and helps me optimize my inventory. Ordering is very easy, and delivery is fast through the wholesaler.”
Valériepharmacist and group president (31)
"The website is wonderful, full of features that I enjoy discovering and using. My team and I love working with Sagitta Pharma."
AuréliePharmacist (58)
A purchasing platform I couldn’t live without. I’ve been using it for over 7 years, ever since I transferred here, and it has become an indispensable tool in my daily work. It’s a particularly convenient solution when you don’t want to work directly with manufacturers. The product range is both comprehensive and varied, with discounts comparable to those offered by manufacturers, while avoiding the constraints of overstocking. Another major advantage is the ability to purchase individual units, which allows us to precisely meet patients’ needs, with very few expired products to manage.
