Since 2025, Sagitta Pharma has been partnering with PharmaGreen to reduce waste and repurpose damaged healthcare products, giving them a new use through charitable initiatives.
This collaboration, which is particularly close to our hearts, is fully aligned with our CSR approach. It addresses a concrete objective: to prevent the destruction of products that are still usable, encourage reuse, and support organizations working on the ground.
After an initial six-month review, we are actively continuing this collaborative initiative with the results from the first quarter of 2026.
An act of solidarity
In the first quarter of 2026, 1,892 health products were saved from destruction and redistributed to two partner organizations :
- Aviation Without Borders
- Gennevilliers Food Bank
These donations amount to nearly 280 kilograms of repurposed products. They give a second life to products that can no longer be sold but can still be put to good use in a spirit of solidarity and responsibility.
These redistribution efforts give unsellable but still useful products a second life in a spirit of solidarity and responsibility.
An eco-friendly gesture
Over the same period, the programprevented the emission of 160 kg of CO₂, equivalent to a round-trip from Paris to Bordeaux in a gasoline-powered car.
This result confirms the value of a reuse approach in the pharmaceutical and over-the-counter sectors. By prioritizing reuse over disposal, Sagitta Pharma is helping to reduce the environmental footprint of its operations.
A long-term CSR approach
Following a very encouraging initial assessment in 2025, the start of this year confirms the continued partnership with PharmaGreen.
For Sagitta Pharma, this initiative exemplifies concrete, measurable, and collective corporate social and environmental responsibility ( CSR). It reinforces our commitment to a pharmaceutical industry that is more responsible, more supportive, and more mindful of available resources.
These Q1 2026 results thus mark a new milestone in an initiative that we intend to continue over the long term.
